AFS is a 501(c3) nonprofit that provides Credit Counseling, Finance Education, Debt Management Plans, Bankruptcy Counseling, Homebuyer Counseling and Student Loan Counseling. Our mission is to empower people to improve the quality of their lives through financial education and counselling. American Financial Solutions is a division of the North Seattle Community College Foundation.
GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for performing accounting functions including updating marketing reports, performing bank reconciliations, assisting with month end closing, updating monthly and quarterly creditor fair share and disbursement reports, and assisting with pulling data for state compliance renewals and examinations. Also, assist as backup for payment processing duties such as daily banking transfers, processing client payments and disbursements, and data entry.
